NICMAR needed online course content produced properly — an institutional volume of teaching video, consistent across modules and faculty.
Course video fails on volume rather than on quality. One well-produced lecture is easy; forty of them, matching each other, on a schedule, with faculty who are not performers, is a production systems problem. Treating each session as a separate creative project would have made the programme unaffordable and inconsistent.
